Prep: Was a 2-time state champion and 2-time All-American while wrestling for the Rio Rancho HS Rams and coach Dennis Friedland, an ASC Hall of Famer… Graduated in 2007… Won state titles as a freshman and junior… Earned All-America honors as a junior and senior… Finished second at state as a sophomore… Wrestled at 130 pounds… Helped the team to three state titles… Also played football.
