2010-11 (As a Redshirt-Freshman): Competed in eight matches, while wrestling for the team twice, at the Wyoming Cowboy Open and again at the Fort Hays State Bob Smith Open... Wrestling all eight matches at 184 pounds.

As a Freshman (2009-10): Posted a combined 0-8 mark as an unattached wrestler in four open tournaments... Competed at 197 pounds in three of them and at 184 pounds at the Fort Hays State Bob Smith Open (Dec. 5).

Prep: Was a 2-time regional heavyweight champion for the Matt Ries coached Beloit F.J. Turner HS Trojans… Posted a 33-5 record as a senior (2008-09) and a 25-14 record as a junior (2007-08)… Won a conference title as a senior… Earned all-area honors during both seasons… Also competed in track and field.
