**2010 Wyoming Cowboy Open (3rd Place)**

2010-11 (As a Freshman): Redshirt season...  Competed unattached in two tournaments and posted a record of 8-4... Placed 4th at the 2010 Wyoming Cowboy Open, winning six straight after losing his first bout to make his way into the third place match... Won four total matches by pin, including both of his wins at the Northern Colorado Old Chicago Open.

Prep: 2-time undefeated state champion for the Jimmy Melek coached Volcano Vista Hawks…  Went 36-0 as a senior in 2009-10 helping the team win a state title… Wrestled at 152 pounds… Posted a 35-0 record as a junior… Was 16-2 as a sophomore… Placed second at state… Went 34-5 as a freshman finishing fourth at state… Also competed in football and track… Was the Westside Athlete of the Year… Set high school football single-game state records rushing for six touchdowns and 382 yards… Was a first team all-state running back… Ran on a winning 4x200-meter state championship relay team in track… Also helped the Hawks win the team title… Was featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd.

Academics: Is majoring in sociology with plans of working for the FBI.
