Grizzly men win Division II Program of the Year Award again
NEW ORLEANS— The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Friday that Adams State College is the winner is of the organization’s Division II Men’s Program of the Year Award for the 2009-2010 school year. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Adams State College seniors Jessica Adams (Cimarron, N.M.), Janette Cary (McCarroll) (La Jara, Colo.) and Vanessa Roy (Pont Sainte Maxence, France) each received first team honors as the Grizzly women’s cross country team placed a conference-high three members on the top 7-runner unit of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s All-Academic Women’s Cross Country Team, released Tuesday by conference officials. Mwei, Martin combine for three National Awards
NEW ORLEANS— Adams State College senior Reuben Mwei (Kapsabet, Kenya) has been named as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s NCAA Division II Cross Country Athlete of the Year while Grizzly coach Damon Martin swept both the men’s and women’s National Coach of the Year honors announced by the association Tuesday.
